A weekend of peaceful repose in meditation, drumming, chanting and nature
In silence we can hear and feel the limitless depth of our true nature. In drumming we can feel the infinite power through our connection to the source. In chanting we can empty our hearts and be filled by the breath of creation. And in natural beauty we can be reborn to the wonder of our transient lives. Together we can share the joy of this very moment.
These retreats are held at Cedar Cliff retreat center on the north shore of Lake Superior, 20 minutes south of Grand Marais (www.cedarcliffretreat.com). The building is a beautiful prairie craftsman style home built in 1931. Sitting on the shore of the great lake it offers breathtaking views from the great room in any season. There are 6 bedrooms that sleep 14 comfortably. The surrounding area offers some of Minnesota’s best hiking trails.
These retreats combine meditation, drumming, chanting and nature walks in a daily rhythm that embraces us in mindfulness and allows for rest and renewal. These retreats are open to anyone and appropriate for experienced and inexperienced meditators and drummers.
